Mark gained his trade certificate through the Royal Australian Naval Forces in Boiler-making, he was also trained in the areas of Shipwright and Carpentry through the Navy.

Mark then taught welding at TAFE for 19 years which means he has a Certificate IV in workplace training and assessing along with earning the title of a first-class welder.

Mark now focuses a lot of his time on custom interior design pieces working with some of Sydney's best Interior Designers to bring to life the customers dream for their home, inside or out. Mark also has his work on display in Belle magazine and inside fine-dining restaurants in some of the worlds largest cities such as Tokyo and London.

Alongside this, he enjoys driving his self-made 1932 Ford five-window coupe which won "Top Coupe" at the 2009 Australian Hot Rod Nationals. As well as racing his custom built 2012 Lakester with his kids Kurt and Gemma clocking over 250mph on the salt flats in Lake Gairdner, South Australia.
